Apply Now for AASM 2024-2025
We are so excited that you have decided to apply for the Awakening Asia School of Ministry! Below you'll find an outline of the application process as well as the things you need to begin your application process!
Submit Application
Submit your application together with your recommendation letters and pay the registration fee of ￥7000.
The deadline for international students who are applying for visas through us is March 15th.
The deadline for all other students is June 15th.
Interview
Interview with one of our leaders about your desire to come to our school via zoom or in person.
Application and Interview Results
The school will let you know the results of your application and interview by email.
Submit COE Application for VISA
Gather the necessary documents for your certificate of eligibility application and send them to Awakening Tokyo by April 1st. (Please allow up to two weeks for mailing.)

Look for Housing
With Awakening Tokyo's assistance, you will look for a housing solution 1-2 months before arrival.
Convert COE to VISA
Once you receive your COE, you will go to your local Japanese embassy to have your VISA processed.

Come to Tokyo!
Aim to arrive 1-2 weeks before school starts on August 1st to get settled and ready for school!

Application Fee of ￥7000
None of your answers on this written application will automatically disqualify you from attending school. Don’t rush but take you time to fill this form out. We recommend you allow yourself at least 30 minutes to complete this form. In order to cover administrative expenses on our side, we do charge a non-refundable application fee of ￥7000. The application fee is not part of the school tuition.
